Overview Top

With your Paragon Wireless Internet you also get up to five email address @paragonbc.com. You will be given your first email account name and password when you are signed up to the server. With this primary email account you can add up to four secondary accounts through a web based management system.

You can find "Edit Accounts" system in the preferences section of the webmail system. More detailed instructions can be found in the next sections.

Accessing the Account Management Page Top

First goto the webmail site by clicking on the webmail icon on the left side of the Paragon Wireless Internet Website (http://www.paragonbc.com/).

Then enter the account name and password of your first account and click "Login". You have to use the account that was given to you when you signed up, not one of the ones you've created.

Then click on the user preferences button along the top toolbar.

Then click on the edit accounts button along the top toolbar.

You will now be on the "Edit Accounts" page.

Adding Accounts Top

To add an email account enter the account name in the address field. The account name is the portion of the email account which is before the @ character in an email address. Then enter the password for the account twice into the password and confirm password fields.

The username must be no more then 12 characters long and only contain letters and numbers. The password must be at least 5 characters long. Once you have entered your information press the "Create Account" button.

At the top of the page a message will be shown about the result of the attempt to create an account.

Removing Accounts Top

To removing an email account press the "Delete" button that is beside it. You can only delete secondary accounts, not the original account you are given.

You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the account. If you delete an account all emails currently on the server for that account will be deleted as well. If you are sure you want to delete the account press the "Yes" button, otherwise press the "No" button.

At the top of the page a message will be shown about the result of the attempt to delete an account.
